How does it feel to be graduating?
It feels like a great achievement having started my studies from an NC in Business Management working all the way up to achieving an honours degree 5 years later. At times it didn’t feel easy but always having the end goal set in your mind it makes the hard times feel worth it. I feel a real sense of accomplishment and I am so positive for what the future may bring.

What made you decide to study at Abertay?
Having always lived locally I had heard great things about the university, so it was a no-brainer. My best friend had previously studied the Business Management course and recommended it to me due to the high quality of teaching and facilities around the university.
What have the highlights been of your time at Abertay?
The main highlight is all the new people that you meet and study with day-to-day, you can form some really close friendships that can last a life time. I was also given a fantastic opportunity to do some work experience working with the Scottish Football Association which was fulfilling and gave me a great insight into how a large football association operates.
What’s next for you?
The business management course leaves open many doors for which you can proceed into after finishing university. Having now completed university I applied and was successful in achieving a role as a Marketing Intern actually within Abertay! After my internship ends I intend on expanding my horizons further and plan on moving abroad somewhere to continue my progression in the marketing field.
